Volunteering/ Donating Supplies

As a non-profit organization, we rely on community members who want to make a difference in the lives of others by donating their time and/or supplies.  Volunteers are needed to serve dinner from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Supplies Needed: laundry soap, dish soap, pine sol, toilet paper, paper towels, canned vegetables, pasta, pasta sauces, coffee, sugar, creamer, warm clothing.  If you have questions you can call the bridge or reach out to us at director@thebridgeshelter.com

Emergency Shelter

Seasonal  shelter for adults 18+ from October 21 Through  April 12 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am.

The Bridge Emergency Shelter is a wet/low barrier shelter that provides a safe and warm place to stay, wash their clothes, receive a hot meal, and shower to adults 18 years of age and older. No background check is required and you do not have to be sober to stay.

Year-Round Opportunities

At The Bridge Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing, and Day Labor, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to earn a living and contribute to their community. That's why we offer year-round day labor opportunities to those in need, providing individuals with the skills and experience necessary to secure long-term employment. Call Nancy Johnson at (970)880-4661 Monday thru Thursday 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Turning self-sufficiency into stable housing.

 Providing formerly homeless individuals with stability and support they need to secure permanent housing outside of the Bridge programs.  Must be working and self-sufficient.  The Bridge does not discriminate in admission or access to or treatment or employment in its programs and activities on the basis of disability.
